Travel MRI Tech in St. Louis, MO

This travel MRI Tech job in St. Louis, MO with Advantis Medical is an 8-week travel MRI Tech contract at Barnes - Jewish Hospital. This role pays $1,198 per week and follows a Days shift with a 2x10 schedule.

In this travel MRI Tech job, you will support patient care through specialty-specific clinical services, perform assessments and treatments within your scope of practice, document patient progress, operate relevant medical equipment, and collaborate with physicians and the broader care team to help deliver quality patient outcomes.

Job Details

Facility: Barnes - Jewish Hospital

Location: St. Louis, MO 63110

Contract Length: 8 Weeks

Shift: Days (2x10)

Responsibilities
  • Screen patients, visitors, and equipment for MRI safety, including implants and ferromagnetic objects
  • Position patients and select the appropriate coils and imaging sequences for each study
  • Administer gadolinium contrast when ordered, following facility protocol
  • Obtain diagnostic-quality images, adjusting parameters to manage motion and artifacts, and provide completed studies to radiologists
Travel MRI Tech Requirements:
  • 2+ years of recent MRI Tech experience.
  • Must hold all required certifications and licenses as mandated by Missouri and national regulatory bodies.

  • The case mix spans the subspecialties of a 1,250-plus-bed academic medical center, from neurosurgery and orthopedics to abdominal transplant.
