Radiologic Technologist / MRI Tech Assistant

Location: Northside Center - Jacksonville, FL


Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM


Join the #1 Outpatient Imaging Team in Northeast Florida

Precision Imaging Centers is seeking an ARRT-registered Radiologic Technologist to join our new Northside team as a full-time Radiologic Technologist / MRI Tech Assistant.


This position will primarily perform X-rays and provide high-quality patient care in our outpatient imaging environment. The technologist will also be cross-trained as an MRI Tech Assistant to assist with ROCC coverage as needed.


This is an excellent opportunity for a patient-focused X-Ray Technologist who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is interested in expanding their skills while supporting MRI operations.


What You'll Do
  • Perform diagnostic X-ray exams while ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care
  • Prepare and position patients appropriately for X-ray procedures
  • Provide exceptional patient care and customer service
  • Cross-train as an MRI Tech Assistant to assist with ROCC coverage as needed
  • Assist with MRI patient preparation, positioning, and exam workflow when providing Tech Assistant coverage
  • Administer IV contrast and support patient safety protocols as needed
  • Transport and monitor patients throughout the imaging process
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with technologists and team members to support efficient daily operations
Qualifications
  • ARRT(R) Registered Radiologic Technologist
  • Current Florida Radiologic Technologist license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Venipuncture competency and ability to administer IV contrast
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to thrive in a busy outpatient imaging environment
  • Willingness to cross-train and provide MRI Tech Assistant support as needed
