Accounts Receivable Coordinator (Commercial Real Estate)

We're looking for an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our Finance team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring accurate cash application, maintaining tenant accounts, and partnering with property management to deliver an exceptional client experience.

What You'll Do
As an Accounts Receivable Coordinator, you'll be responsible for supporting the financial operations of our commercial real estate portfolio by ensuring payments are accurately applied and accounts remain current.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process high-volume cash receipts, bank deposits, and lockbox transactions daily.
  • Apply payments accurately to tenant accounts receivable ledgers across multiple entities.
  • Research and resolve unapplied cash, open credits, and payment discrepancies in partnership with Property Management teams.
  • Upload tenant invoice charges and ensure timely account updates.
  • Reconcile tenant accounts and investigate payment questions from clients, tenants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Respond to Accounts Receivable inquiries within 24 hours, providing outstanding customer service.
  • Monitor daily bank activity, including wires and ACH transactions, and communicate activity to the appropriate teams.
  • Process monthly prepayment applications.
  • Support the Accounting and Finance team with additional projects and initiatives that improve processes and client service.
What You Bring

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience.
  • Commercial Real Estate Accounts Receivable experience preferred.
  • Experience with MRI Software is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
