Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting multiple MRI Technologists to support the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System located at 6900 N Pecos Rd, North Las Vegas, NV 89086. Full-time and part-time opportunities across multiple shift schedules are available.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex MRI examinations and procedures.

  • Screen patients for MRI contraindications and ensure MRI safety compliance.

  • Educate patients and monitor patient condition before, during, and after exams.

  • Select pulse sequences and optimize imaging parameters.

  • Perform MRI-guided procedures and assist with breast imaging and biopsies.

  • Perform venipuncture and administer contrast as required.

  • Coordinate MRI schedules and prioritize emergent studies.

  • Maintain MRI protocols and recommend updates.

  • Conduct daily quality control and monitor PACS image transfer.

  • Serve as liaison with physicians, engineering, and MRI vendors.

  • Assist with staff training and MRI cross-training.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma

  • Certificate of Completion from a Radiologic Technologist training program accredited by an institution recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), and/or the JCERT

  • Advanced certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MR) is required

  • A minimum of one (1) year of proven clinical experience in MRI in a Level 1 hospital setting is preferred

  • Maintain active AHA BLS

  • Previous Siemens equipment experience is preferred

  • No sponsorship available

All candidates must be able to:

  • Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift

  • Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist

  • Lift up to 20 lbs

  • Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance

  • Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
