Job Description Summary:
Responsible for providing high-quality technical support and service to our medical imaging customers. This includes the installation, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of medical imaging equipment (i.e. CT, MR, XR, US, etc.), ensuring it meets the highest operational standards. You will work independently in the field to diagnose and resolve technical issues, while adhering to safety regulations and OEM specifications.
Essential Functions and Job Duties:
  • Service medical imaging equipment focused within the United States.
  • Calibrate and troubleshoot imaging systems and computer components to ensure performance aligns with OEM specifications
  • Ensure the system operates effectively to meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Move the company forward in engineering competency.
  • Represent the company professionally in all on-site interactions and communicate customer feedback effectively to internal teams.
  • Evaluate, install, and perform preventive maintenance on imaging equipment, while providing advanced-level troubleshooting and repair of electronic, mechanical, and network-related issues.
  • Continual expansion of knowledge base in the repair and installation of equipment.
  • Provide regular project updates, feedback, and insights to management, including the Zone Service Director, to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Remain available to address technical issues and respond to inquiries promptly.
  • Document newly developed processes and provide training to end users.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and organizational goals.

Education or Relevant Experience:
  • Education: Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent
  • Experience: 3-7 years experience in medical imaging engineering or equivalent; ideal candidate would have Either a strong GE, Siemens, Philips and/or Multi-Vendor Imaging skillset
