We’re looking for a dependable Operator to safely operate specialized industrial cleaning equipment while supporting customer job sites across a variety of industries. This hands-on role requires a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and delivering high-quality service in demanding industrial environments.

What You'll Do

  • Follow all MPW health, safety, and environmental policies while performing assigned work.
  • Report to the branch or customer job site on time, in proper uniform, and ready to safely perform assigned duties.
  • Prepare job sites by setting up hoses, barricades, warning tags, and other required equipment.
  • Operate industrial cleaning equipment including water blasters, water lances, wet and dry vacuum systems, wash trucks, aerial lifts, and automated tooling.
  • Perform manual labor to support vacuuming, hydroblasting, pipe lancing, and other industrial cleaning activities.
  • Transport equipment and materials to and from customer job sites.
  • Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Monitor and maintain proper oil, fuel, and fluid levels on vehicles and equipment.
  • Perform minor equipment and vehicle repairs as needed.
  • Clean and prepare equipment for return to the branch following project completion.
  • Demonstrate initiative, accountability, and attention to detail while completing assigned work.
  • Deliver professional customer service while representing MPW at customer facilities.
  • Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned by supervision.

 

What You'll Need

  • Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.
  • Experience performing manual labor in an outdoor or industrial environment preferred.
  • Two to three years of hands-on experience operating tools, industrial equipment, or heavy equipment preferred.
  • One to two years of equipment maintenance experience preferred, with knowledge of heavy equipment operation or repair considered a plus.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain MPW certification to operate at least one specialized piece of equipment, including water blasters, wet/dry vacuum systems, or wash trucks.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to perform continuous physical labor, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and positioning yourself in and around confined spaces and at elevated heights.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including respirators, while working around chemicals, dust, fumes, and other industrial hazards.
  • Ability to travel for customer projects that may require overnight stays, extended shifts beyond eight hours, weekends, and work in varying weather and industrial conditions.
