What You'll Do
As a Machine Operator, you'll be responsible for operating manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently while producing quality products that meet customer specifications.
Daily responsibilities include:
  • Operate production machinery and manufacturing equipment
  • Load and unload materials and parts
  • Perform machine setups and equipment changeovers
  • Monitor machine performance throughout production runs
  • Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Make machine adjustments to maintain product specifications
  • Identify and reject defective parts
  • Perform routine equipment inspections
  • Complete preventive maintenance tasks as assigned
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Follow Quality Management System requirements
  • Follow Environmental Management System (EMS) requirements
  • Complete production reports and manufacturing documentation accurately
  • Maintain production rates and efficiency goals
  • Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe
  • Follow 5S and housekeeping standards
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers
  • Assist with shift change communication to ensure smooth production
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Report unsafe conditions immediately
  • Work overtime when required
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Pass a basic math assessment with a score of 80% or higher
  • Ability to read and follow written work instructions
  • Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment after training
  • Ability to work scheduled overtime when necessary
Physical Requirements
  • Vision correctable to 20/20 in both eyes
  • Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, and perform repetitive movements
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around machinery and moving equipment
