Seeking a Senior Windows Server Cloud DevOps Engineer to join a mission-critical technology team supporting a highly secure enterprise environment in the Washington, DC area. Location: Washington, DC Metro Area (DC/Maryland/Virginia) Work Schedule: Onsite 5 Days per Week Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (Conversion Opportunity After 90 Days) Client Details The employer is a well-established professional services provider known for delivering comprehensive technology solutions. As a medium-sized organization, they prioritize innovation and efficiency in meeting client needs. Description Location: Washington, DC Metro Area (DC/Maryland/Virginia) Work Schedule: Onsite 5 Days per Week Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (Conversion Opportunity After 90 Days) Serve as the senior technical owner for Windows Server environments and production operations. Administer, troubleshoot, patch, harden, and maintain Windows Server infrastructure. Support and manage cloud-hosted environments, including AWS-based solutions. Operate and troubleshoot Kubernetes (EKS) clusters and containerized workloads. Lead production incident response and perform root cause analysis for critical issues. Design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.
