We’ve reimagined the traditional storage model by replacing warehouses and moving trucks with sleek, mobile trailers designed for optimal storage conditions and swift, streamlined transport. Position Overview
As a Mover/Helper at Flex Moving and Storage, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional moving experience for our customers. This role focuses on the physical and operational aspects of moving — loading, unloading, packing, and protecting customer belongings — without driving responsibilities. Movers/Helpers work closely with the Field Lead and other team members to ensure safe, efficient, and professional moves that meet Flex’s service standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Safely load, unload, and carry furniture, boxes, and other household or office items.
  • Pack and protect customer belongings using blankets, shrink wrap, straps, and other materials to prevent damage.
  • Assist in disassembling and reassembling furniture as needed.
  • Follow instructions from the Field Lead to execute move plans efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in trucks, storage units, and customer locations.
  • Handle all items with care and respect, ensuring high customer satisfaction.Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies during moves.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members throughout the job.
  • Assist with inventory checks and verification of items being moved.
  • Perform basic equipment and supply checks to ensure readiness for each job.


Qualifications

  • Prior moving, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred but not required — training provided.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to follow directions.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and peak business days.
