Job description

Are you an experienced freight broker, transportation sales professional, or freight agent looking for a platform that rewards your relationships and your results?

Whether you currently manage an established customer portfolio or have a history of generating freight sales, this opportunity offers the resources, technology, operational support, and uncapped earning potential to help you take your business to the next level.

What You'll Do
  • Manage and expand an existing book of business while developing new customer relationships
  • Generate new freight opportunities through prospecting, referrals, networking, and industry relationships
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for your customers and carriers
  • Negotiate rates and secure capacity using carrier relationships, load boards, and internal resources
  • Collaborate with operations and carrier sales teams to ensure exceptional service execution
  • Utilize McLeod software, pricing tools, AI technology, and transportation platforms to manage freight efficiently
  • Identify opportunities for account growth, increased margins, and long-term partnerships
What Success Looks Like

  • Understand the transportation industry and freight brokerage environment
  • Have experience building and maintaining customer relationships

What You Bring
  • Previous experience in freight brokerage, transportation sales, logistics sales, or carrier sales
  • Existing customer relationships or an established book of business preferred
  • Demonstrated success generating revenue in a commission-based environment
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of freight markets, pricing, and transportation operations
  • Experience using transportation management systems and load boards preferred
  • A self-motivated, results-driven approach to business development
