Calling all Technicians, Tinkerers, and Jacks-of-All-Trades! Working at Cinergy is anything but boring! Our Karting Technicians set the stage to provide MAGICAL state-of-the-art experiences for our guests, and have a ton of FUN in the process. Cinergy's Karting Technicians are responsible for the hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for electric go-karts and track systems. The role blends technical mechanical work with track team members and guest interaction to ensure a safe, functional, and “MAGICAL” entertainment experience.


Position Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform daily performance checks and repairs on electric go-karts, including inspecting brakes, steering systems, and electrical components
  • Track Safety: Maintain the appearance and functionality of the track, pit, and kart mechanic shop to meet safety standards
  • Documentation: Keep accurate logs of all repairs, parts inventory, and special maintenance projects
  • Guest Interaction: Represent “MAGIC” values and interact with guest during operating hours while monitoring safety guidelines
  • Speedway Support: Assist with Pit Crew and Track Marshall duties to ensure safety guidelines are followed during track operations
Requirements:
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Pass a pre-employment background check
  • Work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Able to read and communicate in English
  • Ability to understand basic instructions and follow a checklist of tasks
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools
  • Work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
  • Move about facility and stand for long periods of time
  • Reach, bend, and stoop frequently
  • Dress in proper dress code requirements, looking neat, clean, and professional at all times
