Job Description

  • Our Shift Managers perform the essential front-line management for the movie theater and assist the general manager in duties including guest services, team member coaching and training, cash management and general support of theater operations.

Cross-training in Cast Member duties, facility opening and closing routines and procedures, cash management, and team member management is provided to all Shift Manager.

Generally, work tasks will include:

  • Providing oversight of the operation, cleanliness, and performance of the theater
  • Overseeing deposits and money handling initiatives
  • Opening and closing the theater for the start or end of a business day
  • Providing an excellent guest experience by proactively and reactively addressing guest concerns
  • Managing team members to ensure essential tasks are completed and guests receive exceptional service
  • Troubleshooting issues and communicating with leadership to improve the theater
  • Serve as a liaison with the GM to the corporate office in coordinating marketing and sales activities
  • Working collaboratively with the team

Qualifications / Expectations

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have availability to work on weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Must commit to showing up to work on time when scheduled
  • Must have a positive team-focused attitude and be willing to learn
  • 1+ year of management or leadership experience
