Position Summary:

The Concierge is responsible for ensuring and providing efficient service while creating impactful and memorable experiences for our members and guests. This position is responsible for ensuring overall satisfaction from the moment the member or guest arrives at the Club. The Concierge position will support the concierge function and coordination of member events with internal and external partners to ensure seamless execution; including, but not limited to, reservations, check-ins, member billing, seating assignments, scheduling of instructors, talent, and/or vendors, ticket distribution and billing, member billing for activities, and related tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the clubhouse and F&B team to obtain all event information to plan and coordinate necessary activities to ensure seamless execution of member events, ensuring an exceptional member experience. Activities may include themed parties, holiday celebrations, movies, card games, bingo, trivia, lectures, arts & crafts, etc.
  • Assist with managing and updating the clubhouse activity calendar.
  • Act as a liaison between the Club and performers/talent in scheduling activities.
  • Assist as necessary with the planning and implementation of all Club events and member activities.
  • Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage Department to meet operational needs.
  • Oversee concierge operations and perform related responsibilities, ensuring Wycliffe standards are adhered to; including, greeting and directing members/guests, professionally and timely responding to member inquiries or directing inquiries to the appropriate department, management of member reservations utilizing NorthStar and Seven Rooms software, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of front desk reception areas, etc.
  • Serves as liaison between various departments to coordinate event/function details.
  • Ensures F&B menus are updated weekly.
  • Assist Clubhouse Manager, F&B Director, as needed.
  • Assists with training of new concierge team members.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

  • Position operates in a professional club environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
  • While performing duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear, sit or stand in stationary position for extended periods of time, lift, bend, or stoop as necessary.
  • Frequently lift/move up to 10lbs and occasionally lift/move up to 25lbs.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, 40+ hours/week. Evening, weekend, and holidays required as job duties demand.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Previous Country Club experience or equivalent experience in hospitality preferred.
  • Possesses a genuine desire to provide outstanding member services.
  • Possesses a broad knowledge of community events and extracurricular activities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, while remaining flexible to meet the needs of the members.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Outlook, and social media.
