Job description

SUMMARY
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care to patients that are ill, injured convalescent or disabled per the State of California Nursing Practice Act in the following settings at Mountains Community Hospital: Medical Surgical Unit, Emergency Services, Perioperative Services and Skilled Nursing Facility. On call required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school.
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Preferred one to two years' experience in specific nursing service i.e. Emergency Services,
Perioperative Services, Medical Surgical Services, Skilled Nursing Services.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current State of California Nursing license.
Current BLS certificate.
For Emergency Department:
ACLS upon hire
PALS upon hire
Basic arrhythmia certification required within 6 months of hire
