As a telehealth-driven organization, our counseling services are delivered remotely, allowing flexibility to conduct client sessions from the comfort of your own home or chosen workspace. All communication and session facilitation is handled through secure digital platforms, ensuring both safety and confidentiality.

• Conduct comprehensive patient intakes that include diagnostic assessments and functional evaluations to determine treatment goals.
• Provide brief, focused interventions based on individual client needs while collaborating closely with primary care providers.
• Advise primary care teams regarding the mental health needs of patients and determine the appropriateness of referrals to specialty providers.
• Initiate follow-up communications with patients to review their progress and assess the efficacy of treatment plans.
• Develop relapse prevention strategies to help clients maintain stability and prevent deterioration of mental health.
• Document all patient interactions, assessments, and progress updates meticulously in electronic health records.
• Educate patients on self-management techniques to empower them in their treatment and recovery journeys.
• Maintain effective working relationships with clinic management and interdisciplinary teams to improve overall patient care.
• Participate in meetings aimed at reviewing behavioral health services and suggesting program improvements.

You will work with a diverse client population that may include individuals dealing with various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. Our clients range from children to adults and often face overlapping medical and psychosocial issues, requiring an integrative approach to their treatment. Your expertise and compassion will play a critical role in fostering their emotional, psychological, and physical growth.

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field is required.
• Current licensing as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health assessment methods, treatment planning strategies, and therapeutic techniques, including DSM-IV diagnoses.
• Strong understanding of family therapy models and group therapy methodologies.
• Ability to manage clinical records efficiently while adhering to ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards.

• Experience working in a telehealth capacity is preferred but not required.
• Bi-lingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
• A track record of collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in healthcare settings.
• Prior experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) environment is a plus.
