Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Test Rider and Detailer to join our team. Yes, you get paid to test ride motorcycles. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for motorcycle care and a keen eye for detail.

As a Test Rider, you will be responsible for riding the motorcycles after the technician's complete the requested work. You'll ensure that work was performed to dealership standards.

As a Detailer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the vehicles are cleaned polished and maintained to the highest standards, providing an exceptional experience for our guests. Training can be provided, if necessary.

You will also be responsible for picking up and delivering guest's motorcycles.

What will i do every day?

  • Ride motorcycles after technicians complete their work
  • Communicate to technicians any findings discovered on test rides that might require additional attention
  • Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning motorcycles
  • Keep lot neat and orderly, moving vehicles as directed by the Service Manager
  • Move vehicles to and from the service lane, service stalls and parking lot, as needed
  • Handle inventory of motorcycles, creating repair orders
  • Retrieve and deliver motorcycles from a variety of locations in one of our amazing shop trucks with automated lifts
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What are the requirements?

  • Valid driver's license with motorcycle endorsement and clean driving record
  • Ability to show up punctually and work posted schedule
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to improve
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks effectively
  • Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with co-workers and customers
  • Familiarity with detailing techniques, including buffing and polishing methods, training can be provided
  • Ability to drive various types of vehicles safely and responsibly
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to learn new skills related to vehicle care.
