Job description

Ridezilla is seeking a dependable and hardworking Driver / Shop Helper to support our Service Department in Americus, GA.
This is a hands-on role combining unit transportation, shop support, and general dealership operations. A key part of this position will be safely transporting Side by Sides, ATVs, motorcycles, and other powersports units using company trucks and trailers, while also assisting the Service Department when not on the road.
We're looking for someone who is reliable, comfortable towing a trailer, enjoys staying active, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to help keep the dealership running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Driving & Unit Transportation
  • Operate company trucks and trailers to transport Side by Sides, ATVs, motorcycles, and other powersports units.
  • Complete customer pickups and deliveries safely and professionally.
  • Load, unload, secure, and transport units using proper tie-down and safety procedures.
  • Transport units between dealership locations, vendors, customers, and other destinations as needed.
  • Inspect trucks and trailers before use and communicate any maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Represent the dealership professionally when interacting with customers during pickups and deliveries.

Shop & Service Support
  • Assist the Service Advisor, Shop Foreman, and Technicians with daily operational needs.
  • Move and stage units throughout the dealership for service, customer pickup, delivery, and storage.
  • Assist with basic unit preparation, assembly, and setup as needed.
  • Support basic maintenance, inspections, and detailing of new and pre-owned units.
  • Help technicians with basic shop tasks, tools, parts, and equipment as directed.
  • Operate forklifts and other dealership equipment safely when trained and authorized.

Facility & Lot Support
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the Service Department, shop, lot, and storage areas.
  • Sweep floors, empty trash, remove scrap materials, and keep work areas clean.
  • Assist with organizing units, equipment, tools, and supplies.
  • Help maintain a safe and professional dealership environment.
  • Support other departments and operational needs as business demands change throughout the day.

Requirements
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
  • Experience driving trucks and towing trailers strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable safely loading, securing, transporting, and unloading powersports equipment.
  • Previous delivery, towing, dealership, warehouse, shop, or similar hands-on experience preferred.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while on the road.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to assist wherever needed.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical work throughout the day.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and move equipment as required.
  • Forklift experience preferred, or willingness to obtain certification after hire.
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and MVR check.
