Leveraging our proven expertise in team communication, SENA Industrial is strategically expanding into the enterprise vertical with a next-generation communication solution.

This new initiative bridges advanced wireless networking with real-world industrial applications, targeting high-growth sectors where team communication is essential. We are seeking an Application Engineer to be a foundational member of our North American team. This is a unique opportunity for a technical leader to help launch and scale a transformative communication platform in the enterprise market from the ground up.

Job Summary

The Application Engineer (AE) at SENA Industrial will serve as the primary technical authority for the next-generation communication solution in the North American market. This role is a strategic technical partner to the Sales team and Channel Partners (Radio Dealers, MSPs, and System Integrators). The AE is responsible for bridging advanced wireless networking with real-world industrial applications, ensuring seamless deployment and high-level technical trust with enterprise clients in different industrial verticals.

Key Responsibilities1. Pre-Sales Technical Support & Partner Enablement
  • Join sales meetings as the technical expert — conducting product demos and addressing technical questions from client IT teams and decision-makers.

  • Execute Proof of Concept (PoC) installations at client sites and document results to validate system performance.

  • Deliver technical training to channel partners so they can perform installations and provide first-level (Tier 1) support independently.

2. Post-Sales Support & Product Feedback
  • Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for issues partners can't resolve, and monitor early deployments for stability.

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for partners on escalations.

  • Collect field feedback and feature requests, and share with R&D to inform the product roadmap.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science or Engineering field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in enterprise network engineering, wireless solutions, or technical field engineering.

  • Ability to translate technical constraints into clear, practical guidance for sales teams and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, R&D, and external partners.

  • Self-motivated, with good judgment for spotting and addressing technical risks proactively.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned region (initially DFW region), expanding across North America as the business grows.

Preferred (plus) Qualifications
  • Experience with communication protocols such as Wi-Fi, Digital Mobile Radio, Bluetooth, or Mesh network.

  • Experience training or mentoring partner/third-party engineers.
