Job description

Responsibilities:- 
  • Documenting cosmetic condition, damage, completeness, and wear indicators
  • Capturing photographs
  • No mechanical testing or vehicle operation required
  • Standardized vehicle condition reporting and damage documentation
  • Photo capture and submission of reports through Yamaha's web portal within 48 hours of inspection completion
  • Experience inspecting motorcycles, ATVs, and/or UTVs
  • NAAA certification or equivalent experience for assigned inspectors
  • Warehouse/distribution center inspection experience preferred 
Technical Qualifications:
  • NAAA certification or equivalent experience 
  • Experience inspecting motorcycles, ATVs, and/or UTVs
Industry Experience Required:
  • 3+ years' experience as a Quality Inspector preferably in the Motorcycle & Vehicle field.
  •  NAAA certification or equivalent experience 
  • Experience inspecting motorcycles, ATVs, and/or UTVs
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in vehicle quality inspection, automotive/motorcycle manufacturing, repair, maintenance, or quality control.
  • Strong knowledge of motorcycle and vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, electrical systems, body structures, and safety features.
  • Ability to perform detailed quality inspections to verify workmanship, assembly quality, functionality, and compliance with specifications.
  • Experience identifying defects, workmanship issues, missing components, improper installations, and non-conforming conditions.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents, inspection criteria, repair records, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Skilled in documenting inspection results through detailed reports, photographs, and corrective action recommendations.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes, inspection checklists, and root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, safety requirements, and quality assurance practices.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify minor defects and potential reliability concerns.
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly and professionally with manufacturers, suppliers, repair facilities, and clients.
