DESCRIPTION:

A Motor Coach Driver is responsible for operating a motor coach and transporting passengers safely and efficiently over specified routes to and from destinations. Position conducts pre-trip and post-trip inspections and observes safety regulations and policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

General responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

· Provide the highest level of customer service

· Pre-trip and post-trip all buses before and at the end of trip

· Fill out all necessary forms, DVIRS, inspections forms, driver logs

· Load and unload luggage as necessary perform all duties in a manner to assure safe and secure transportation of customer

· Maintain a flexible attitude

· Communicate with dispatch, and or drivers if on the same move as needed with any changes

· Report to work on time

· End of charter search bus for lost items

· Fuel bus as per company policy

· Dress in company uniform

· Assist passengers on and off bus

· Lifting and closing motor coach luggage bins, engine doors

· Need to be physically capable if handing passengers during an emergency – Lifting, pushing, pulling, and crouching could occur in an emergency

· Drivers need to be physically, mentally, and emotionally able to drive the maximum hours per DOT

· While on road could be asked to clean bus, dump bus, and light mechanical work

Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

- 2 Years Motorcoach Experience

· Driver must meet and maintain all D.O.T. qualifications which include but are not limited to drug test and D.O.T. physicals, vision and hearing.

· Obtain and maintain a valid CDL with a Class B and with the proper endorsements which include passenger, and air brakes.

· Applicants must be at least 21 years of age

· Minimum 5 years’ experience (preferred)

· Must have clean MVR

Drivers must be able to read and speak and understand English
