Motion Menders Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our team in Manassas, Virginia. This position is situated within our onsite rehabilitation facility in Manassas, where you will work in a collaborative environment alongside a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals. • Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and restoring functionality, in accordance with physician directives.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' physical capabilities through diagnostic assessments, functional ability tests, and analysis of movement patterns.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants in the execution of treatment plans, ensuring alignment with clinical standards and protocols.
• Facilitate manual therapy techniques, including massage, therapeutic exercises, and guidance on the use of assistive devices to maximize client independence.
• Evaluate clients' home environments to determine necessary modifications or recommendations that foster rehabilitation and self-sufficiency.
• Document and maintain accurate clinical records, including initial evaluations, care plans, and progress notes, to support comprehensive patient information management.
• Engage with interdisciplinary team members through case conferences, contributing insights and strategies for holistic client treatment and support.
• Monitor client progress closely, documenting changes in condition and therapy response to adjust care plans as necessary, collaborating with physicians and case managers for integrated care.
• Educate clients and their families on physical therapy practices, ensuring understanding of the treatment regime and promoting adherence to rehabilitation goals.
• Fulfill additional assignments as required to achieve organizational goals effectively.

As a Physical Therapist at Motion Menders Therapy, you will primarily work with a diverse population of clients recovering from various orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical conditions. Your expertise will be pivotal in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey, focusing on their unique challenges and empowering them towards greater independence and functionality.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in rehabilitation or home healthcare.
• Current and valid PT licensure in Virginia, in good standing.
• CPR certification and a valid driver’s license with automobile insurance are mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to think critically and make sound clinical decisions autonomously as well as collaboratively.
• A strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and an unwavering passion for clinical excellence.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage clients, families, and team members.

• Experience in both acute care and home care settings is highly valued.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient clinical documentation.
• Strong organizational skills to manage a varied caseload effectively.
• A proactive approach to continuous learning, including staying updated on advancements in physical therapy practices.
