Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' physical capabilities through diagnostic assessments, functional ability tests, and analysis of movement patterns.
  • Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants in the execution of treatment plans, ensuring alignment with clinical standards and protocols.
  • Facilitate manual therapy techniques, including massage, therapeutic exercises, and guidance on the use of assistive devices to maximize client independence.
  • Evaluate clients' home environments to determine necessary modifications or recommendations that foster rehabilitation and self-sufficiency.
  • Document and maintain accurate clinical records, including initial evaluations, care plans, and progress notes, to support comprehensive patient information management.
  • Engage with interdisciplinary team members through case conferences, contributing insights and strategies for holistic client treatment and support.
  • Monitor client progress closely, documenting changes in condition and therapy response to adjust care plans as necessary, collaborating with physicians and case managers for integrated care.
  • Educate clients and their families on physical therapy practices, ensuring understanding of the treatment regime and promoting adherence to rehabilitation goals.
  • Fulfill additional assignments as required to achieve organizational goals effectively.
Patient Population / Client Focus
