Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team in Sierra Vista, Arizona. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients improve their mobility, manage pain, and enhance their quality of life through comprehensive therapeutic interventions.

  • Perform thorough physical therapy evaluations to assess patients' physical status, range of motion, strength, and functional capabilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and patient goals
  • Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions and exercise instruction to patients
  • Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes using electronic medical records
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care
  • Supervise and guide Physical Therapy Assistants and support staff
  • Maintain compliance with state regulations and professional standards
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, home exercise programs, and preventive care
  • Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
Qualifications
  • Graduate degree from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy Program
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and MS Office
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Demonstrated knowledge of physical therapy protocols and treatment techniques
  • Understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pain management principles
  • Experience with rehabilitation equipment and safety protocols
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team
  • Strong documentation and organization skills
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional development
