Job description

Baylor College of Medicine at CHRISTUS Children's is seeking a dedicated faculty member to join the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Gastroenterology, specializing in Motility Disorders. This full-time position offers a faculty appointment within the Department of Pediatrics. The role involves providing comprehensive clinical care, participating in educational activities, and engaging in clinical research.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ambulatory and inpatient care
  • Provide consultative services
  • Perform general GI procedures
  • Participate in the supervision and education of medical students, residents, and fellows in Gastroenterology
  • Provide outpatient clinical care for children with all types of intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic and nutritional disorders
  • Provide inpatient care, consultation, and emergency room consultation for children with all types of intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic and nutritional disorders
  • Perform general pediatric gastrointestinal procedures (e.g., upper endoscopy and colonoscopy with related therapeutic procedures)
