Legend Biotech entered into a global collaboration agreement with Johnson & Johnson to jointly develop and commercialize CARVYKTIยฎ (ciltacabtagene autoleucel; cilta-cel). Through this strategic partnership, we combine complementary expertise and capabilities to advance innovative immunotherapies for patients living with multiple myeloma.
Legend Biotech is seeking Sr. Cell Therapy Clinical Educator (Gulf Coast) as part of the Commercial team based Remotely, near the Houston or New Orleans metro areas.
Role Overview
The Cell Therapy Clinical Educator are field based commercial personnel responsible for providing information, education and resources on Legend cell therapy products to advanced practice providers (APPs) and nurses involved in delivering care for patients treated with cell therapy. The individual will work within a specified region to enhance disease knowledge, coordinate and provide staff training to: enhance proper administration, and educate on appropriate adverse identification and management. This is a field-based role that works closely with sales, marketing and other cross-functional partners to deliver on-label education to the audiences mentioned above.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conducts peer-to-peer in-person and virtual educational programs through 1:1 APP/Nurse and group presentations;
  • Meet with identified customers in each participating practice or facility to engage and enroll them in educational programs
  • Promptly respond to internal/external inquiries and requests
  • Collaborate and work cooperatively with commercial team members on various cross-functional projects and regional initiatives to support company goals
  • Provide in-services and educational activities at appropriate professional society meetings.
  • Utilize key resources to support account planning to align with regional and company goals
  • Develops relationships with key nurse opinion leaders.
  • Recognize changes and emerging trends within an account to develop and implement alternate plans to achieve objectives
  • Provide consistent follow up to appropriately assess and meet practice needs for education
  • Possess an in-depth mastery of clinical and technical knowledge related to products and disease state management
  • Ensure clear, concise and accurate communication of program information using proper medical terminology utilizing only approved materials and guidelines
  • Maintain the highest level of professional standards in all interactions with customers and other business contacts.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment regarding utilization of time and resources
  • Represent Legend at national and/or local conventions
  • Other tasks as assigned within scope of practice

Requirements
  • Minimum: Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university in a health science field (RN, NP, PA, etc)
  • Advanced degree also considered
  • Minimum of 10 years nursing experience or 5 years Oncology experience
  • Clinical practice experience in immune effector cell therapy/bone marrow transplant (required if no previous in-house industry experience)
  • Involvement/membership in ONS (Oncology Nursing Society)
  • Previous in-house industry sales or clinical educator experience
  • Experience with Multiple Myeloma
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication (written and presentation) skills
  • Demonstrated ability to access and understand challenges and educational needs of stakeholders and accounts within the assigned geography
  • Proven customer focus
  • Demonstration of strong in-person and virtual presentation and engagement skills
  • Superior clinical skills and business acumen with the proven ability to excel in a technically complex and ambiguous environment
  • Exceptional collaborator who can effectively develop and work with internal functional partners and external customers
  • Demonstrated ability to identify critical activities and tasks and adjusts priorities to meet organizational goals and objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to read situations quickly, anticipate and adjust for problems and roadblocks
  • Valid driver's license

  • Able to travel 75% of the time

The base pay range below is what Legend Biotech USA Inc. reasonably expects to offer at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location. The company reserves the right to modify this range as needed and in accordance with applicable laws.
Other Types of Pay: Performance-based bonus and/or equity is available to employees in eligible roles.

Pay Range (Base Pay):
$168,372-$220,988 USD
