The Motel 6/Studio 6 dual-branded hotel off Ina Rd. and I-10 is seeking multiple well-qualified Housekeepers.
Candidates must be available Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Mondays.
Job Summary
The Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. This role involves performing a variety of tasks, including cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking rooms to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests.ย

Key Responsibilities
Room Cleaning:
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Remove all trash and debris including the areas under the beds and behind the furniture.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, doors, and vents.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Dust all surfaces and furniture.ย  Wipe down both sides of the guest room entrance door.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Make beds, change linens, and ensure proper bed setup.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Sweep and mop floors.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Deodorize room with approved scent.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Clean PTAC units including filters.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Restock supplies.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Double check all rooms when completed to ensure they are โ€œGuest Ready.โ€
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Inform the Housekeeping Supervisor when a room is ready for Inspection.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Inform supervisor immediately if room items are missing or damaged.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Assist team members when necessary.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Other tasks as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor and General Manager.

Public Area Cleaning:
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Wipe down/sanitize guest room doors, locks, handrails and walls in the assigned area.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Vacuum hallways and deodorize.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Remove all trash and linen from hallways and stairwells.ย

Guest Service:
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Smile and say hello to guests you encounter on property (10/5 Rule).
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Report any maintenance issues/concerns/problems to the appropriate staff.
