Join SR400 Constructors on the $4.6B SR 400 Express Lanes project in Atlanta, one of the largest roadway projects in the United States. This a major infrastructure undertaking managed by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) to add 16 miles of new tolled express lanes along State Route 400. This project will transform a critical route and support mobility in one of the nation’s fastest growing regions.

Principal/Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervises field operations for a MOT Crew
  • Direct work of assigned crews
  • Supervise, mentor and coach craft personnel as it relates to company policies, procedures and work requirements
  • Perform daily forecast of crew cost and production rate and report as required
  • Is in direct charge of safety and accident control for MOT crew
  • Submits crewmember’s timesheets to payroll by required deadline
  • Supervise all subcontractors affiliated to the respected segment and ensure conformance with construction specifications
  • Organize and coordinate subcontractor activities as directed by the Superintendent
  • Inspect work sites to ensure safety of workers
  • Monitor work progress of employees and subcontractors
  • Assist the Superintendent in preparing reports pertaining to work progress and safety
  • Ensures compliance of production staff with all company policies and procedures, OSHA, EPA, and VDOT guidelines
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area and meets other housekeeping needs and ensures that all employees reporting to Foreman do the same



Qualifications Required

  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Able to read and understand drawings and specifications.
  • Understand Production schedules.
  • Time Management
  • Required Paperwork eg, DRA, JHA, Inspections, etc.
  • Maintain high level of safety and adhere to all safety policies and procedures for craft and subcontractors.
  • Present safety topics at meetings as required.
  • Coordinate subcontractors on site.
  • Request materials as needed, Requisitions/Procurement
  • Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Perform additional assignments as needed.
