Job description

Position Summary 

The MOT Foreman is responsible for supervising and ensuring the proper set up and take down of alltraffic control devices, as well as maintaining the setup for the duration of the job for all MOT personnel. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Comply with (and actively promote) all Safety policies and procedures including reporting all accidents, incidents and near misses to ensure adherence to our Number One Core Value - Safety, first in everything we do. 
  • Supervise and ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all Middlesex Safety Policies and Procedures 
  • Present daily huddles, weekly Toolbox Talks and safety talks 
  • Must be able to identify potential hazards and assist in maintaining a safe work environment for all Team Members 
  • Supervision of all MOT Team Members 
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule to include day/night shift work with extended hours when necessary 
  • Ensure proper set up, maintenance and removal of all traffic controls 

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a MOT supervisor 
  • MOT advanced certification 
  • Knowledge of FDOT and MUTCD standards 
  • Able to follow verbal instructions
