About the Opportunity

  • Direct enterprise-wide demand planning activities, ensuring forecasting practices support broader business and supply chain objectives.
  • Build and maintain demand outlooks across near-term, annual, and multi-year planning horizons using analytical modeling, historical trends, and commercial insights.
  • Establish forecasting frameworks, methodologies, and performance standards across multiple product categories.
  • Evaluate market influences including customer demand patterns, economic conditions, pricing movements, and product portfolio changes.
  • Develop scenario-based planning models to assess business risks, opportunities, and supply chain impacts.
  • Serve as the primary resource for forecasting expertise and provide guidance to planning and analytics team members.
  • Design and enhance predictive forecasting solutions utilizing statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, and advanced modeling tools.
  • Integrate and analyze data from operational, sales, customer, and external market systems to identify emerging demand trends.
  • Monitor forecast effectiveness through key performance indicators and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Create executive reporting tools and analytical dashboards that support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Investigate causes of forecast variation and recommend actions to improve predictability and reduce volatility.
  • Lead demand planning activities within the Sales & Operations Planning process, ensuring alignment across commercial and operational teams.
  • Facilitate collaboration among Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain stakeholders to achieve forecast consensus.
  • Convert demand projections into actionable recommendations for production scheduling, inventory positioning, and procurement planning.
  • Support leadership teams with revenue projections, business scenarios, and long-range planning insights.
  • Partner with commercial teams to incorporate promotional activity, product launches, customer behavior, and market intelligence into forecasting models.
  • Work closely with manufacturing, inventory, and sourcing functions to balance service levels, capacity constraints, and inventory investments.
  • Champion modernization initiatives involving planning systems, analytics platforms, and process automation.
  • Assist with the implementation and optimization of enterprise planning technologies, including ERP and forecasting applications.
  • Develop documentation, process standards, and training resources to strengthen organizational planning capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows through automation and digital solutions.


About You:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain analytics, or business planning roles.
  • Strong background leading cross-functional planning cycles and S&OP processes.
  • Experience working with enterprise planning systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, JD Edwards, or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated success implementing or managing forecasting, analytics, or planning technologies.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
