Position Responsibilities:Lead the monthly IBP Demand Review for assigned scope, ensuring a time-phased, assumption-based consensus demand plan and clear action log outcomes.Develop and publish operational demand forecasts (baseline and consensus) at multiple levels of aggregation and for multiple time horizons (short-, mid-, and long-range).Review historical sales, seasonality, and demand drivers; build and refine statistical forecast models; evaluate performance using accuracy and bias metrics and root-cause analysis.Business partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Insights to quantify demand drivers (distribution, price, promotion, innovation, portfolio changes) and align inclusion in the forecast.Prepare Executive Demand Review materials and narratives that highlight variances vs. plan/budget, key drivers, risks/opportunities, and scenario trade-offs; frame decision asks for leadership.Lead cross-functional reconciliation of forecast variances and assumptions; ensure transparency from baseline-to-consensus changes and follow-through on agreed actions.Own demand planning inputs for new item launches from ideation to commercialization and post-launch stabilization; track launch performance and adjust assumptions as needed.Evaluate promotional plans and performance to establish meaningful future lift assumptions; partner with Commercial teams to improve promo forecast quality over time.Collect, filter, and document market intelligence; convert insights into forecast assumption updates and maintain an assumptions log for governance and auditability.Work with Supply Planning, Production Planning, and Deployment to translate the consensus/financial forecast into an SKU-level operational forecast for the network and proactively communicate changes.Provide demand inputs to Supply Planning to support inventory strategies for existing items, innovation, and product phase-outs; quantify impacts to service, inventory, and working capital.Maintain and publish KPI dashboards and performance metrics; implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of key forecast issues and improve operational outcomes.Drive continuous improvement of demand planning processes and systems; act as a demand planning system expert and interface with IT/CoE to enhance forecasting and reporting capabilities.Create and maintain reporting tools within corporate systems to manage demand planning responsibilities; track and reconcile weekly/monthly metrics vs. targets.Supervision:Reports to Senior Manager, S&OPPotential Career Progression:Lateral opportunities within Supply Chain (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Customer Supply Chain & Logistics) to broaden experience and capability.Promotional opportunities within S&OP, Customer SC, T&W Leadership roles.Position Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Statistics, Business, Economics, Engineering, or other quantitatively oriented fields.5-10 years of progressive experience in Demand Planning/Forecasting (CPG preferred), with demonstrated success in a mature S&OP or IBP environment.Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams to reach consensus, including facilitation of Demand Review / Alignment meetings and action governance.Strong analytical and statistical capability; able to translate data into insights, scenarios, and executive-ready recommendations.Advanced Microsoft Excel skillset; ability to mentor others in Excel and structured problem-solving.Experience with statistical forecasting methods and demand planning software; familiarity with reporting/BI tools is an asset.Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with comfort presenting to senior leaders and enabling decision-making.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.DisclaimerThis position description is not intended, and should not be construed to be, an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, efforts or working conditions associated with the job.
