Location: Phoenix, AZ
Pay Rate: $22.00-$26.00
Company Summary:Our client is a proven leader in the communications industry, offering a professional level of low voltage expertise to their partners. Our client provides the resources necessary for their team members to excel and reach their career goals in the communications industry.
Position Summary:
Anistar is seeking an experienced Field Service Technicians to provide assistance with the service tickets, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables as well as security equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Running service tickets for commercial environments
  • Pulling and routing CAT5 or CAT6 cable in a new construction and existing structure commercial environment
  • Terminating data jacks
  • Configuring network equipment (routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Conduct site surveys of cabling, power, and equipment
  • Installing support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks)
  • Pulling, routing, installing and terminating structured cabling infrastructure in a commercial environment.
  • Running daily reports

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience installing and servicing voice and data or security systems in a commercial environment.
  • Prior networking experience with routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Ownership of basic telecom tools: Punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, Hard Hat, Boots, Safety Glasses, etc.
  • Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA or NEC Standards.
  • High character and integrity
  • Excellent communication/customer service skills
  • Open to travel work
  • Computer savvy for reports
