Job Description:

Title: Registrar – Health Information Management

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts (40 hours per week), with acceptable work window from 4:30 AM to 11:00 PM EST. No weekends.

Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week

Requirements:

- Experience with abstracting complex cases, including BMT treatments and multiple facility abstracts.

- Proficiency in OncoLog, Cerner, OncoEMR, All Scripts, Aria, and Mosaiq.

- Ability to meet quality standards with a minimum expectation of 90% accuracy, with an average of 95%.

- Assessment may be conducted to determine fit based on experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Abstract pertinent health information from various medical documents while ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.

- Maintain knowledge of complex cases and treatment protocols, including rare or complex primary sites.

- Collaborate with team members to facilitate accurate and timely data entry into electronic systems.

- Participate in quality reviews and implement feedback to meet performance metrics.

- Complete all user-defined fields as required by the systems used.
