Job description

The Mosaic Life Care Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is seeking a BE/BC Physiatrist to join our team. Our state-of-the-art regional medical center is in picturesque St. Joseph, MO. The practice has a reputation for excellent patient care provided by highly skilled and collaborative providers committed to innovative, evidence-based care. Outpatient clinic with a broad population ranging from spine and musculoskeletal medicine to post-stroke, amputee, and general rehabilitation care. Ideal applicants would be interested in ultrasound guided procedures, EMGs, general rehabilitation and managing spasticity. Respectable volume of procedures performed regularly in clinic (EMGs, ultrasound guided interventions, neurotoxin injections, joint injections, trigger point injections, tenotomies, PRP, and capsaicin patches).

Compensation Details:

  • $300k starting base salary, 2-year guarantee
  • Opportunity to earn additional income based on RVU production
  • $50k starting bonus
  • Up to $200k student loan repayment assistance

Practice Details:

  • In May 2026, this outpatient clinic is relocating to a new, state-of-the-art Mosaic medical office building. This location brings many services together to create a coordinated patient experience, including: primary care, specialty care, outpatient imaging and lab, and retail and specialty pharmacies
  • Actively involved with the local university to develop a new collaborative project to house a collegiate sports program and Sports Medicine Center of Excellence, which would also include comprehensive therapy services
  • Multi-disciplinary practice with a variety of expansion opportunities
  • Currently initiating a virtual Spine Center, which is a collaborative effort across the PM&R, Neurosurgery, and Pain Management departments
  • Cooperative, energetic, friendly, and flexible atmosphere with high patient, caregiver, and provider satisfaction
  • Experienced multi-disciplinary team including a Certified Athletic Trainer and a fully equipped, on-site physical therapy suite with a Physical Therapist.
  • Approximately 12,000 patient encounters per year; 95% Outpatient/5% Inpatient.
  • Consult call only when APPs are out no weekends or holidays.
