About this opportunity

The Mortgage Sales Trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of the mortgage sales team. This role focuses on ensuring that sales representatives are equipped with the necessary product knowledge, sales techniques, regulatory compliance, and customer service skills to drive sales performance and deliver exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging training sessions on mortgage products, sales techniques, market trends, compliance, and customer service.

  • Assess training needs and identify skill gaps within the sales team.

  • Create training materials, manuals, and e-learning modules tailored to different experience levels.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.

  • Collaborate with sales managers and leadership to align training with business goals and sales targets.

  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to sales staff to improve their sales techniques and product knowledge.

  • Stay current with industry regulations, mortgage products, and sales best practices.

  • Facilitate onboarding and continuous development programs for new and existing mortgage sales representatives.

  • Lead group workshops, role-playing exercises, and one-on-one coaching sessions.

  • Track and report on training outcomes and progress. Location and Schedule

  • This is a full-time, office-based position in a modern, cozy environment in our Fort Lauderdale HQ.

  • Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in mortgage sales and/or mortgage sales training.

  • Strong knowledge of mortgage products, loan processes, and regulatory requirements.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to design and implement effective training programs.

  • Coaching and mentoring experience is highly desirable.

  • Proficient with training software, learning management systems (LMS), and virtual training tools.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, education, or related field preferred
