MORNING JANITOR
Location: Sacramento International Airport (SMF) - Sacramento, CA

Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Huntleigh USA is actively seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our team as Morning Janitors at Sacramento International Airport (SMF). This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments in a fast-paced airport setting.
As a Morning Janitor, you will play a critical role in ensuring airport facilities remain clean, sanitary, and presentable for passengers, visitors, and airport personnel.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • General cleaning and disinfecting of offices and airport facilities
  • Sweeping and mopping floors
  • Dusting surfaces
  • Emptying trash cans and waste receptacles
  • Cleaning and maintaining jet bridges
  • Cleaning stairways and common areas
  • Maintaining gate areas and passenger waiting spaces
  • Following all company safety procedures and airport regulations
  • Performing additional cleaning duties as assigned

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift, squat, stoop, push, stand, and bend throughout the course of a shift
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and/or hold 10-20 pounds or more with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • High School Diploma or equivalent may be required in some locations
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have a reliable telephone number for contact purposes
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
