Job description

High Rise Office Building - Morning Officer

United Protective Services is looking to hire a reliable and experienced unarmed officer for a FULL TIME morning security position at a high-rise office building in Irving, TX.

Pay: $16.50

Schedule:

  • Monday 7AM-3PM
  • Tuesday 7AM-3PM
  • Wednesday 7AM-3PM
  • Thursday 7AM-3PM
  • Friday 7AM-3PM

Position Overview:

United Protective Services is hiring for a morning security position at an office building in Irving Texas. This is a front-facing role where you will be around tenants and visitors throughout the day, so how you interact with people matters just as much as the security side of the job. The work includes, greeting guests and tenants, keeping track of activity in and around the building, handling parking-related issues, and making sure anything out of the ordinary gets addressed or passed along.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet tenants and guests with friendly and knowledgeable attitude

• Maintain a professional presence while on duty and interacting with others

• Complete daily reports and scan checkpoints using the site’s reporting system

• Keep an eye on parking areas, including reserved and accessible spaces

• Issue notices when needed and coordinate with management for towing approvals

• Pass along any incidents or concerns to supervisors without delay

• Provide directions or basic assistance to tenants and visitors

• Address unauthorized individuals in a calm and respectful manner

• Stay aware of surroundings and report anything unusual

Required Qualifications:

• Prior security experience is helpful but not required

• Clear communication and the ability to work with different types of people

• Comfortable working both independently and with a team

• Basic familiarity with using technology for reports or tracking

• Reliable attendance and ability to stick to the schedule
