As a Security Officer Morgue Response Patrol in Escondido, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while responding professionally to evolving situations. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate hospital personnel and public responders when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, patient care areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and wayfinding, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
