Security Officer Morgue Escort Driver

As a Security Officer Morgue Escort Driver in Smyrna, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Healthcare Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while supporting patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to respond to sensitive situations, including access-controlled areas, while demonstrating integrity, reliability, and teamwork in a caring environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations involving patients, visitors, staff, and restricted areas.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and perimeter, including entrances, parking areas, and other assigned areas.
  • Assist with access control, visitor management, and monitoring of security-related activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be willing to receive required hospital vaccines.
  • Be willing to work in a hospital morgue.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be willing to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
