Job description

Advance Your Maintenance Career with Morgan Properties - Where Growth and Opportunity Await!
Now hiring Make-Ready Technicians!
The Make-Ready Tech prepares vacant apartments for market ready condition by performing various non-technical functions including, but not limited to:
  • Caulking
  • Drywall repair
  • Touch up painting
  • Test all locks and key sets
  • Assist in inspection of property
  • Maintaining exterior lighting
  • Ground equipment repair and preventative maintenance
  • Maintain grounds and common areas including picking up trash, sweeping sidewalks and driveways, snow removal, etc.
  • Assist the Maintenance Technician(s), Porter, and Housekeeper as necessary
  • Pool maintenance
  • Must be available, on notice, in event of snow and/or ice and other site emergencies.

Compensation & Incentives
  • Base Pay: $19.00 - $22.00/Hr
  • Up to 20% Rent Discount
  • Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
  • Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
  • On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Match
  • Generous Paid Time Off, including 10 holidays per year and sick leave

Hours & Schedule
  • Monday - Friday: 8am-5pm
  • Paid rotating on-call participation required
  • Must be available and prepared for emergency events
  • *Schedule subject to change based on business needs

What we'll expect from you:
  • Active and valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
  • Live within a 30-minute commute of the property.
  • HVAC/EPA/CFC Certification preferred.
  • One-year related experience, or equivalent education and experience.

If you are hired at Morgan Properties, your overall compensation package will also be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
