JOb Title :- Cardiac Cath Lab RN/Tech
Contract- 13 Weeks
Location-Downers Grove, IL
Facility Type-(Level 1 Trauma Center)
Join a Magnet-Designated, Level 1 Trauma Center** with Primary Stroke Center status at our 285-bed facility in Downers Grove, IL!** We're seeking experienced Cath Lab RNs and Techs for a 13-week contract in our high-volume lab (3 labs + 1 hybrid OR, 12-15 procedures/day). Adult interventional cardiac and EP services only. COVID vaccine required.
Key Highlights:
Shift: 4x10hr days, 0700-1730 (mandatory)
On-Call: 7-9 shifts/month (self-scheduled; 30min response; includes 1 weekend/month + possible holidays)
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Pay: Competitive traveler rates (inquire for details)

Patient Population & Procedures:
Inpatient/outpatient adults: Cardiogenic shock, diagnostic caths, thrombectomy (Penumbra), stenting, Impella/IABP, TAVR, Watchman, AAA/TCAR, right heart caths (shunts/valves/ASD), EP studies (ablations, pacemakers, cryo, loop recorders).
Qualifications:
RN: 3+ years Cath Lab; BLS/ACLS (RCIS preferred)
Tech: 3+ years Cath Lab; ARRT/RTR, IEMA, BLS/ACLS (RCIS preferred)
Must-Haves: EPIC experience, EKG/rhythm interpretation, Impella/IABP, conscious sedation (RN), aseptic/sheath pulls/TR bands (Tech)
First-time travelers reviewed case-by-case
Team & Support:
Staffing: 1 RN + 2 Techs or 2 RNs + 1 Tech/room (RN sedation/no fluoro)
Robust support: Charge RN/Tech, Lab Coordinator, 24/7 physicians, code team
