Monster Tree Service of Rochester has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Climbing Arborist who will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction, estimating job costs, and achieving budgeted sales goals for your territory. This is accomplished through constant communication and daily in-person appointments with customers and prospects.

Responsibilities:
  • Safely climb, prune, and remove trees on residential and commercial properties.
  • Maintain and operate all equipment, including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and climbing gear.
  • Work seamlessly as part of a crew under the guidance of our Crew Foreman.
  • Prioritize and deliver excellent customer service, reflecting our values of respect and professionalism.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated climbing experience using rope and saddle for pruning, with proficiency in knots, chainsaw operation, and chipper operation.
  • Familiarity with Aerial Lifts (bucket truck and/or spider lifts) and adherence to ANSI standards which includes using proper PPE (we take this seriously).
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
  • Experience with driving non-CDL trucks with trailers.
  • Knowledge of crew management, training, customer service, and safety procedures is highly valued.
  • Excellent listening and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and ability to follow instructions.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.
