Job description

Job Title: Fabrication Shop Supervisor

Location: This is an on-site position in Cocoa, FL

Terms: Full Time/permanent/non-exempt

Salary/rate: hourly position wage depends upon experience.

Reports to:  President


    Extensive experience in welding processes of carbon steel.

·       Utilization of fabrication equipment and overhead cranes.

·       Solid technical background with hands-on experience in Steel fabrication.

·        Proficient in understanding construction drawings and blueprint reading.

·       Strong Mathematical Skills.

·       Management and ordering of materials/shop supplies.

·       Scheduling production and delivery of materials Schedule workflow for 20 to 25 employees.

·       Excellent communication skills.

·       Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

·       Professional, team-player.

·       Monitor to ensure safety precautions and quality standards are met.

·       I am willing to assist with physical activities on occasion, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and stretching.  

Experience

·         5 to 10 years industrial management

·         10 years working with steel in a variety of industries.

·         Knowledgeable of the safety regulations and procedures

·         Must have quality and efficiency as top priorities.

·         Background in Fabrication with strong mechanical aptitude
