Job description

With over 17 years of proven success, Monkey Wrench Plumbing, Heating, Air & Electric is founded upon a commitment to excellence, high standards, and an unwavering dedication to both team and customer satisfaction. Central to our values is our mission: to provide an elevated service experience to our members and their homes. We invest in our people, support their professional growth, and consistently strive to deliver exceptional service-both within our organization and to the communities we serve.
The Role!
Job Title: Remote Marketing & Operations Assistant (Open to Global Candidates)
We're looking for someone who thrives on bringing order to chaos and turning ideas into action. As our Remote Marketing & Operations Assistant, you'll be the right hand to our Marketing Manager - keeping projects moving, deadlines met, and communication flowing.
This isn't a role where you'll sit around waiting for instructions. You'll be trusted to own recurring tasks, spot gaps before they become problems, and jump in wherever support is needed - whether that's coordinating a campaign, polishing a report, or responding to social media messages.
If you're the type of person who loves checking things off a list, feels satisfaction in keeping projects on track, and enjoys being the dependable go-to for "getting things done," this role is for you. You'll have the chance to flex your organizational skills, sharpen your marketing support abilities, and make a direct impact on how smoothly our business runs day to day.
What We Offer:
  • Stable Monday-Friday schedule with occasional overtime and weekends as needed
  • Vibrant company culture with regular events and team celebrations
  • Growth and advancement opportunities through ongoing training and career development
  • Supportive, team-based environment with caring, engaged leadership
  • Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan
  • Paid time off (PTO) for personal time and rest
  • Paid training programs to help you grow professionally

What You'll Do!
  • Manage recurring weekly and monthly tasks, reports, and deadlines.
  • Maintain project and task lists, following up to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Support social listening and engagement, including interacting with relevant local accounts and responding to social media messages.
  • Assist with projects across Marketing, Customer Care, Operations, and other business areas as needed.

What We're Looking For!
  • Proven marketing experience with measurable results and a history of delivering impactful marketing outcomes
  • Extremely organized with strong attention to detail.
  • A proactive doer and problem solver who finds solutions instead of waiting for step-by-step instructions.
  • Able to manage recurring responsibilities independently and meet deadlines without reminders.
  • Excellent written English and communication skills.
  • Strong Google Workspace and Google Sheets skills (including formulas and professional formatting).
  • Comfortable using Canva for basic design work.
  • Resourceful and confident using technology, AI, and other tools to figure things out.
  • Produces polished, accurate work that's ready for leadership review.
  • Adaptable and reliable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Able to work independently when the manager is unavailable.

Why Join Us? At Monkey Wrench Plumbing, Heating, Air & Electric, our success is driven by the talent and dedication of our team. We're committed to fostering a workplace where every individual feels valued, supported, and empowered to grow. If you're a dispatch professional who thrives on building meaningful connections and making a positive impact, we'd love to have you on our team!

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, gender, veteran status, disability, or any other protected classification.
