Job description

Responsible for the safe transportation of children from school to various locations. RESPONSIBILITIES OF A MINIBUS DRIVER: Create positive lasting memories for each child, each day. Transport children to and from the before / after school to school. Lead children through fun interactive activates such as arts & crafts, gym games and more. *This is not an exhaustive list of job duties. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned. REQUIREMENTS TO BE A MINI BUS DRIVER: Minimum age of 21. Imagination and creativity. A positive energetic attitude. Must have a valid driver's license. Possess knowledge and desire to work with children. Possess mature judgment and sound decision-making. Ability to communicate effectively with members, peers, and supervisor. Current fingerprint clearance card and negative TB or the ability to obtain. Ability to effectively communicate information on YMCA Child Care Programs. Must enjoy working with children and have more than 6 months childcare experience. Must be observant, safety conscious and able to react calmly and quickly in an emergency.
