Job description

Position Summary:

A Cafe Assistant coordinates and provides daily service in cafe operations

Position Responsibilities:

Take orders and process payments from cafe customer
Keep inventory of needed items, communicate supply needs to Nutrition Service Supervisor
Prepare food for service, evaluate menu needs
Clean & sanitize equipment
Operate all food service equipment in a safe manner

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to read, write, make simple calculations and follow oral or written instructions. A high school diploma is preferred. Serve-safe certification is preferred.
