Blue Sphere Behavioral Health Services is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist. This full-time position is ideal for professionals specialized in mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Work Environment

This remote work setting empowers you to connect with clients from the comfort of your own home while also fostering a sense of teamwork with fellow therapists and psychiatrists through virtual platforms. You will be expected to work Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend hours on a rotational basis to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including their severity, frequency, and impact on daily living.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop customized treatment plans that align with their individual needs and therapeutic goals.
  • Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate positive change.
  • Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to foster a supportive care environment.
  • Ongoing monitoring of clients' progress during therapy sessions, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
  • Work closely with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care and the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Stay informed about advancements and research in the field of mental health to enhance an informed approach to treatment.
  • Document client interactions and treatment plans accurately and securely in accordance with legal standards and ethical guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education activities to refine your clinical skills.
  • Advocate for clients by promoting awareness and de-stigmatization of mood disorders within the community.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on individuals navigating the challenges of mood disorders, offering a platform for you to make a significant impact in their lives. You will engage with clients from various backgrounds and life experiences, fostering a deep understanding of the social and environmental factors influencing mental health.

Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience with a focus on treating mood disorders.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based treatment methods, specifically CBT and DBT.
  • Strong understanding of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists.
  • A demonstrated history of achieving positive outcomes in client treatment and satisfaction.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
