Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms, including severity, frequency, and personal history.
  • Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their specific preferences and goals, adjusting as necessary throughout the therapeutic process.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client engagement and progress in treatment.
  • Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and self-care strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health.
  • Monitor and document client progress accurately to assess treatment effectiveness and make data-driven adjustments.
  • Engage in multi-disciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay informed on the latest research developments in mood disorders to refine therapeutic approaches continually.
  • Maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards through meticulous documentation and confidentiality protocols.
  • Participate in case consultations and team-building activities, contributing to refining practices and sharing insights on mood disorder treatment.
  • Advocate for mental health awareness and de-stigmatization of mood disorders, enhancing public understanding and client support.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will work with a diverse population that encompasses various backgrounds and demographic characteristics, ensuring culturally sensitive approaches in your treatment methods.

Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Oregon.
  • Strong ability to develop rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years experience in treating mood disorders, with a proven track record of successful client outcomes.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and application of evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT and DBT.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary setting.
Compensation and Benefits
