Blue Sphere Behavioral Health Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Mental Health Therapist specializing in mood disorders. This full-time position, based remotely but aligned with our community health clinic in Glendale, Arizona, offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals grappling with conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. The salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, and includes additional bonuses and benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including their severity and impact on daily life.
  • Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their specific challenges, preferences, and therapeutic goals.
  • Implement and deliver evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored for mood disorders.
  • Educate clients and their families regarding the nature of mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and strategies for self-care, fostering a better understanding of their mental health.
  • Monitor clients' progress continuously and adjust treatment plans as needed to respond to their evolving needs and circumstances.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide an integrated approach to client care, ensuring all aspects of their mental health are addressed.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and clinical practices in the field of mood disorders to enhance the effectiveness of treatment interventions.
  • Maintain precise and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment strategies in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.
  • Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development sessions to enrich clinical skills and share insights with colleagues.
  • Advocate for clients by promoting awareness and reducing the stigma associated with mood disorders, ensuring that their mental health needs are respected and prioritized.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Clinical Mental Health Therapist, you will primarily work with adult and adolescent clients who are managing various mood disorders. This role requires sensitivity and understanding towards clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and experiences. Your efforts will directly contribute to their recovery and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Arizona.
  • A fundamental understanding of evidence-based treatment options and methodologies specifically designed for mood disorders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients and rapport with a variety of healthcare professionals.
Preferred Experience

While not required, two years of post-licensure experience focusing on mood disorders is preferred, particularly in a community health setting. Familiarity with integrating psychopharmacology into therapeutic practices will be advantageous.
