This role is remote, allowing you to provide therapeutic services from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a strong connection with clients. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic. You'll be part of a collaborative team of mental health professionals committed to integrated care and continuous improvement in therapeutic practices.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients.
• Collaborate with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that align with their individual needs, goals, and preferences.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective therapeutic outcomes.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and essential self-care strategies.
• Monitor and document client progress, regularly reassessing treatment plans based on their evolving needs.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment, applying these insights to enhance therapeutic strategies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development sessions to promote ongoing learning.
• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, promoting awareness and reduction of stigma associated with mental health challenges.

Your role will primarily focus on supporting individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will also assist vulnerable populations such as the homeless, refugees, and domestic abuse survivors, offering them hope and a pathway toward recovery. Your empathetic approach will be pivotal in helping these clients navigate their unique challenges and work toward mental wellness.

• Valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build trusting relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients' experiences and struggles.
• Strong organizational skills and time management abilities to handle administrative tasks effectively.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, providing therapy to individuals with mood disorders.
• Experience in using a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• Familiarity with integrating technology in therapy sessions, including telehealth practices.
