Noyes Cultural Arts CenterDescription:
Plans and supervises drama/theatre and visual arts lessons in a visual or performing arts theme based camp for children, ages 3 to 12 in a day camp setting. Camps include instruction in two and three dimensional visual art, drama, dance and music, radio, video and creative writing. Each week is a different theme.
Job Summary:
  • Reports to Arts Camp Program Manager
  • Collaborate with other Arts Camp Staff
  • Attend to the health, safety and discipline of campers at all times, adhering to all Health Department protocols
  • Manage supplies and maintain an organized and safe classroom
  • Conduct well organized, age-appropriate classes and execute final sharing
  • Maintain positive customer relations with campers and their parents
  • Perform administrative tasks that support the efficient running of the program
Qualifications:
  • Experience teaching visual arts and drama to children

Availability:
Seeking single week instructors the week in June July and August. You must be available Monday through Friday to work.
Weekly hours: Monday through Friday 9 am to 3:30pm
Rate:
Starting at $19 per hour
Schedule:
This is a, seasonal summer position.
