Quality Inspector (Night Shift)

Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Night Shift Quality Inspector to join a dynamic manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will ensure that all products meet rigorous quality standards by performing detailed inspections and audits throughout the production process. Your keen eye for detail, combined with your understanding of quality systems and regulatory requirements, will help uphold a commitment to delivering exceptional, compliant products. Working Hours:

  • Monday-Friday 2nd Shift: 4:30 PM - 2:00 AM
    OR

  • Monday-Friday 3rd Shift: 8:30 PM - 6:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely and accurately load and unload parts on the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).

  • Load and start the CMM for inspection processes.

  • Perform hand inspection and use various measuring gauges.

  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of CMM operation and functionality.

  • Inspect parts using appropriate inspection methods.

  • Complete Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMR) as required.

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

  • Operate Faro Arm equipment for precision part inspections.

  • Complete CMM and Faro probe calibrations.

  • Maintain clear written and verbal communication regarding inspection findings.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of quality inspection experience (required).

  • Hands-on experience operating a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).

  • Experience with hand inspection tools and measuring equipment.

  • Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
