Job description

OR Circulator RN โ€“ Critical Access Hospital (URGENT)

Facility: Cherry County Hospital
Location: Valentine, NE
Department: Operating Room


Contract Details
  • Schedule: Days

  • Shift: 8-hour shifts, Mondayโ€“Friday

  • Hours: 40 hrs/week

  • Cases may extend beyond scheduled shift end time

  • Call Required

    • Every 3rd day call rotation

    • Every 3rd weekend call (Friday morning โ€“ Monday morning)

  • Main call population: C-Sections

  • RN responsible for PACU recovery during call


Pay
  • $72 โ€“ $74 per hour

  • Weekly Pay: $2,880 โ€“ $2,960/week


Required Credentials
  • Active RN License required

  • BLS Certification required

  • ACLS Certification required

  • PALS Certification required

  • NRP Certification required (can obtain during contract)

  • OR Circulator experience required

  • PACU experience required

  • Critical access or rural hospital experience preferred


Responsibilities
  • Function as OR Circulator RN during surgical procedures

  • Provide perioperative patient care and documentation

  • Recover surgical patients in PACU as needed

  • Support C-Section call coverage

  • Maintain sterile and safe surgical environment

  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical staff

  • Respond to after-hours emergency procedures during call
