Job Summary
The Region Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, operational performance, and financial success of Monarch's East Coast operations, overseeing multiple branch locations across the region. This role provides strategic direction to Branch Managers while driving profitable growth, customer retention, operational excellence, employee engagement, and safety performance.
The Region Manager partners closely with Sales, Human Resources, Finance, Fleet, Safety, Contract Administration, and Executive Leadership to ensure consistent execution of company initiatives and achievement of regional business objectives. This position has full accountability for regional P&L performance, leadership development, operational consistency, customer satisfaction, and the successful execution of strategic growth initiatives throughout the East Coast.
The Region Manager is responsible for executing Monarch's strategic initiatives while identifying opportunities for regional growth through market expansion, customer retention, operational excellence, and leadership development. This role partners with executive leadership to develop long-term business strategies, support acquisitions and branch expansions, and ensure consistent execution of company standards across all East Coast operations.
Serving as a coach and mentor to Branch Managers and regional leaders, the Region Manager fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, safety, and exceptional customer service while ensuring alignment with Monarch's mission, values, and long-term business goals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Landscape Management, Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in commercial landscaping, facilities management, construction, or a related service industry will be considered.

Experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive operational leadership experience within commercial landscaping, facilities management, construction, or a related service industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years leading multiple branch locations, districts, or business units with full operational and financial accountability.
  • Demonstrated success managing multi-million-dollar P&L responsibility, including revenue growth, EBITDA, labor management, and profitability.
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed teams.
  • Proven success developing high-performing leaders through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, branch integrations, or geographic expansion initiatives preferred.
  • Commercial landscape maintenance experience strongly preferred.

Operational Excellence
